This ring was 100% inspired by the shape of the stone. An absolutely incredible one of a kind Indicolite, aka blue green tourmaline...it has insane color and flash when the light hits it, not to mention that sexy long skinny shape. I set the stone in 18k gold, on top of a thick piece of silver, and used a heavy triangular shape wire for the band. This piece is heavy, but oh so comfortable on the finger, the contrast of the gold and silver, and the way that stone really pops against the gold makes this a really special future heirloom ring. A lovely addition to your jewelry box, and the kind of piece you'll want to wear everyday.
