The Ancient Gold Coil ring is a new interpretation of my classic Coil ring style. The process of forging this ring is the same way its been done for thousands of years. The weight of the hammer and hundreds of strikes against the gold moves and textures the metal into this perfect soft hammered look with an ancient feel.
The pure color of the gold really sings with this finish, I've kept it raw, instead of polishing it to a high shine. Over time the finish will age beautifully as it takes on the textures of a well loved piece of jewelry.
Built by hand, and coaxed into shape with my favorite 3lb hammer, fire and a lot of elbow grease.
