Desert Snow Day!
Snow in the desert is always a magical occurrence. Until the other day it hadn't rained in probably four months, at least. As someone who grew up in Seattle and lived almost a decade in Hawaii, I can tell you I miss it so much. So not only were we blessed with moisture it came in the form of snow and lasted all day long.
It was glorious.
When the clouds parted, the sun came out, and the snow melted pretty quickly. Everything had been washed clean of the desert dust, and the colors were turned up a notch. Within a couple weeks we'll see new shoots growing on all the plants, and things will be bright green.
