Built by hand from sterling silver and a beautiful piece of Royal Aztec Lace Agate. I don't usually feel called to this color, but something about this parcel of stones was just so beautiful. The rich purple color, with a bit of translucence when the light hits it just right...just lovely.
I set the stone in a simple setting highlighting the shape, and letting the stone really be the star. Paired with an 18k gold bail, I love the warmth of the gold with the purple coloring of the stone. The silver has been oxidized and polished to a satin patina with a not to shiny finish.
The pendant measures just over 1.25" long, and .5" across. The chain is 19" across
