The Medallion necklace is made from recycled silver, using bits of extra silver from other projects. The scraps are melted down into ingots, and then forged into shape using my favorite 3 pound hammer, various files, and a lot of elbow grease.
The softly textured pendant is set with a slice of Watermelon Tourmaline, and a black diamond, hanging from a heavy weight silver chain. The chain has been given a darkened patina to contrast with the bright silver of the medallion. This little piece of Tourmaline really glows when the light hits it, showing off the color variation in the stone.
The pendant measures approximately 1.25" tall, chain length 19"
